I really think that this has opened my eyes to the different meanings of marriage and what God wants in me and for me. I sometimes have this picture of what my marriage will look like (if I get one) and how it will be, without the consideration of accidents, disease, death, emotional/spiritual/physical/financial problems. This video blasted away some of my control-freakish optimism. If God has a marriage in mind for me, it is His and I want His will, not my plans. He loves me with a great passion and knows what I need and what will deepen my love for Him.
Papa, remind me that I’m a married woman; married to You in a marriage so unbalanced in love and power. Please, help me love You more.
That, ladies and gentlemen, is marriage.
Beyond beautiful. No words.
I cried and I couldn’t stop smiling. God’s plan for marriage is so beautiful.
